We learned which gospels came first stories in antiquity that are strikingly similar to some of the Old Testament stories and many many other things. I have to say though, you have to have a pretty strong testimony to withstand that teacher. He actually had me believing that Jesus Christ was not the Savior by the end of it all. Of course that was waaaaaay before I joined the Church or knew what I was talking about, for that matter. Then again I still don't know what I'm talking about.....Anyway thanks for the tip about the used book store. I'll have to go check that out.Moniquehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14031524205974204614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1094045454996557569.post-80735424694450754652010-04-04T13:06:08.102-07:002010-04-04T13:06:08.102-07:00Thanks, Mr. Bartholomew, for taking the time to co...Thanks, Mr. Bartholomew, for taking the time to comment. I don't know that I found F F Bruce dry--but I don't have enough of a framework to hang all his information on, so when I try to remember what I read, it escapes me. Thus, I always like to have a copy of this book around so I can reread it every few years.Liz Adairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08815648250166705199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1094045454996557569.post-56218014196890523312010-04-03T21:45:50.580-07:002010-04-03T21:45:50.580-07:00Glad to here you like FF Bruce. I have also had to purchase some books more than once for the same reason.C. Stirling Bartholomewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03571440237755902925noreply@blogger.com
